Chamber Furnace ICO – Forced Air Circulation 50–860 °C | NTH Therm

Precise Temperature Distribution for Demanding Processes

The ICO chamber furnace from NTH Therm is the ideal all-rounder for heat treatment processes up to 860 °C. The integrated recirculation fan ensures excellent temperature uniformity of less than ±5 °C, a prerequisite for reproducible results.

Technical Equipment

  • Forced air circulation, vertical or horizontal
  • Chamber material depending on temperature range
  • Door seal silicone (<260 °C) or high-temperature fibre (>260 °C)
  • Touch-screen control, PID controller, Type K thermocouple
  • Supply/exhaust dampers, over-temperature protection

Options

Brick-lined chamber · SiC floor tiles · Heating element protection · Cooling fan · Inert gas connection · Electric door lift · Touch screen · Rotary table · Signal lights · Zone control · RS232/RS485 · PC software

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between ICO and ICF?

The ICO has forced air circulation (recirculation fan) for very uniform temperature distribution (< ±5 °C). The ICF operates without circulation and is therefore suitable for higher temperatures up to 1300 °C, where radiation is the dominant heat transfer mode.

Which air circulation directions are available?

Both vertical and horizontal air circulation are available. The direction is chosen based on the batch and process requirements.

Can the ICO operate under protective gas atmosphere?

Yes, with the optional inert gas connection (N₂, Ar), oxidation-sensitive materials can be treated under protective atmosphere.
